Blackpool Fireworks Championships 2011

The Blackpool Firework Championships Firework Display will take place in September. Pyrotechnic ability will be displayed from Global competitors as they compete to win the prestigious public vote.

Once again the dark sky will be lit up for four weekends as Blackpool’s World Fireworks Championships is set to be a month long firework spectacular once more. Hooray. Last year the event, which draws tens of thousands of people to the resort’s seafront, was reduced to a single weekend while regeneration work was carried out on the Promenade.

This year the Blackpool World Fireworks championships are again to be staged over four consecutive Fridays starting on September 9, with a fifth night in the pipeline if a sponsor can be found.
